AFFORDABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS

The cost of your treatment will vary, depending on your individual treatment plan. Our practice accepts most major credit cards and insurance plans. MyDental realizes the limitations of even the broadest insurance plans and offer discounts depending on your method of payment. A skilled treatment plan coordinator will work diligently with you to provide the best payment options for your oral health and budget. We discount our fees for those without insurance to provide an insurance benefit. We take the time to explain the steps clearly so you understand your treatment cost without being overwhelmed so that you make the best decision for yourself.

FINANCING QUESTIONS

Do you have payment plans available?

Yes, we offer affordable pricing and financing options without the loss of quality care. We partner with several independent financing companies that offer a variety of payment plans to fit your budget! The payment plans extend up to 72 months.

Accepted payment plans:

I can’t find pricing on your site?

Dentistry procedures vary from patient to patient and often have multiple underlying conditions making it difficult to provide pricing over the telephone. A proper diagnosis made by the dentist with appropriate x-rays and examinations are required before pricing can be determined. If an examination and x-rays were completed by another dentist, we will be happy to provide a second opinion.

INSURANCE QUESTIONS

We’re committed to providing top-quality care without compromise. We work with most PPO insurance plans. As an out-of-network dental office, we put your health first, offering flexibility, transparency, and a truly personalized experience.

Always feel free to ask for an estimate before treatment, a good team will help you understand your insurance coverage and make the best choice for your needs.

Why Patients Love Our Out-of-Network Dental Office

Is It Always Cheaper to See an In-Network Dentist? The Truth About a Common Dental Insurance Misconception

Many patients believe that choosing an in-network dentist automatically means paying less out of pocket. It sounds logical, but it’s not always true. Let’s take a closer look at how dental insurance really works and why “in-network = cheaper” can be a misconception.

1. Your Dental Plan Determines Your Costs, Not Just the Network.

Every plan has its own rules for deductibles, annual maximums, and coverage levels. Once your yearly maximum is reached, insurance stops paying, even at an in-network office. So, whether you’re in or out of network, you could still be responsible for the same amount if your benefits are used up.

2. In-Network Discounts Don’t Always Mean Bigger Savings.

In-network dentists agree to lower fees, but that doesn’t guarantee a smaller total bill. Our office charges reasonable, competitive fees that are close to or even less than a plan’s discounted rates.

3. Many PPO Plans Cover Out-of-Network and In-Network Dentists the Same.

If you have a PPO plan, you can often choose any licensed dentist. These plans reimburse a percentage of the cost (for example, 80% for basic care), whether your dentist is in or out of network, meaning your cost difference may be small or none at all.

4. Quality, Materials, and Time Can Differ.

Because in-network offices accept lower reimbursements, they typically see more patients per day or use lower-cost materials and dental laboratories (i.e. China) to make up the difference.
At MyDental we have more flexibility to spend extra time on each patient and choose the best labs and materials available. Our general dentisty lab technician is located about 15 minutes away from the office. Additionally we have TMJ specialist technician ready to assist in person as needed.

5. Sometimes “Cheaper” Isn’t Better Value.

It’s worth considering overall value, the quality of care, comfort, and long-term results, not just the immediate price.
A slightly higher upfront cost can mean better durability and fewer problems later.

Bottom Line:

Being “in-network” doesn’t automatically mean you’ll save money.

What truly matters is:

  • Your specific insurance plan and benefits
  • The type of treatment needed
  • The dentist’s fees and quality of care

Always feel free to ask your dental office for an estimate before treatment, a good team will help you understand your insurance coverage and make the best choice for your needs.

Do you accept HMO, Medicaid, or Medicare?

We gladly welcome all participants yet do not file with these plans. HOWEVER, we realize the limits in coverage of these plans and therefore offer discounted pricing for participants so that they may receive the benefit of insurance coverage.

How much will my insurance cover?

Dental insurance coverage varies greatly according to plan, employer and carrier.

Below is an example. We sent 2 separate claims for same code 4346 (deep cleaning) to 2 different insurance companies. Our fee is $250.

1st insurance paid 100% (platinum plan) with no out of pocket fee.

2nd insurance (very low reimbursement plan) paid $23.2 with $226.8 out of pocket fee. We provided the same top quality care for both patients regardless of what insurance they had.

Unfortunately, patients with low reimbursement plans often have a hard time finding a provider they can trust. At MyDental we will work with your insurance company to help you determine your coverage benefits. A treatment coordinator will review your benefits with you on your first visit.
